Seven’s coverage of the Tokyo Olympics this year has earnt them a coveted TV Blackbox Award.

The Tokyo Olympics has won the Most Popular Sports Broadcast award at the TV Blackbox Awards.

  • Bathurst 1000 (Fox Sports/Channel 7)
  • State Of Origin (9)
  • Tokyo Olympics (7)
  • Tokyo Paralympics (7)

The two-week Tokyo Olympics event was broadcast by Seven, led by a team of expert commentators including: Bruce McAvaney, Ian Thorpe, Basil Zempilas, Candice Warner and Casey Dellacqua, among many others.
