Rejoice! The first performers have been announced for Woolworths Carols in the Domain, screening on Seven this Christmas season.
The most wonderful time of the year is almost here! Woolworths Carols in the
Domain – Australia’s largest festive event – is excited to announce that this year, we are back where we belong in the beautiful surroundings of Sydney’s iconic Domain!
We are thrilled to be able to invite you to bring your Santa hats, picnic rugs and singing voices, and enjoy some of Australia’s finest talent, including Samantha Jade, Penny McNamee, Mark Vincent, and Paulini, as they take to the stage to celebrate Australia’s most-loved Yuletide tradition.
Celebrating its 39th year this year, Woolworths Carols in the Domain will take place from the Domain on Saturday, December 18th and broadcast on Channel 7 and 7plus on Thursday December 23rd at 7.30pm (AEDT).
Natalie Barr and David Koch, the hosts of Australia’s #1 breakfast programme, Sunrise, will co-host the 2021 Woolworths Carols in the Domain within a sea of candle lights, bringing together the nation for an unforgettable and much-needed night of Christmas joy to those around Australia, all whilst helping those in need through The Salvation Army.
Joining them on the Woolworths Carols in the Domain stage will be ARIA Award-winning Australian singer, songwriter and actress, Samantha Jade, who is sure to have everyone dancing along.
Homegrown star Penny McNamee will bring her strong musical theatre background to the stage and perform a celebratory festive number. The powerful and emotive vocals of Mark Vincent will wow the audience as he performs a Christmas classic. Whilst music and stage superstar Paulini, will have everyone on their feet with a high-energy joyful number!
More stellar performers will be announced in the coming weeks, and there will of course also be a special visit from the man in the red suit himself – Santa Claus!
