This week, Emma has a new magic eight ball which she found at the op shop and decides to let it make all her decisions for the day.
Daniel thinks this is a terrible idea. He’s got other things on his mind though, because he has found an unusual lump on his balls.
At work, Daniel and Emma head to an inspection at Lena’s house, who is an exceptional tenant. Lena asks Daniel and Emma for help with a delicate situation with her overbearing landlord, Margaret, who happens to come by while they are there. Daniel and Emma see first-hand what Lena means.
On the way back to the office Daniel is still worrying about his lump so he books an appointment with his doctor and ex-girlfriend, Grace. Emma comes to support Daniel, and whilst in the waiting room runs into Margaret again, where she starts advocating for the environmental benefits of four-wheel driving. She really is annoying.
Later on, Barbara and Emma hide from Margaret when she pops into the office. After she leaves, Emma concocts an elaborate scheme to stop Margaret hassling Lena, despite getting different advice from Barbara. Unsurprisingly Emma’s idea doesn’t quite go to plan, and they all end up back at the doctor’s surgery.
