THE SUNDAY FOOTY SHOW discusses the next footy festival of 18 games in 19 days

As one footy festival draws to a close, another kicks off and this time it’s 18 games in 19 days.

The Sunday Footy Show is back at 10.00am this week to review the hottest topics in the AFL and the blockbuster games from Round 12 on Nine and 9Now.

Join Tony Jones, Billy Brownless, Matthew Lloyd, Nathan Brown, Kane Cornes and Damian Barrett as they tackle the latest developments in the coronavirus-ravaged season that continues to throw curveballs of mayhem at clubs, players and administrators alike.

The best newsbreaker in the business, Damian Barrett, will have all the latest news on the next wave of condensed fixtures which kick-starts with the last two premiers, Richmond and West Coast, playing on Thursday night in Round 14.

The Sunday Footy Show’s resident runner, Kane Cornes, is handed the baton for Sliding Doors this week. He examines what would have happened if Port Adelaide star Travis Boak had been traded to Geelong in 2012 as predicted by so many. Would this have meant Geelong’s Patrick Dangerfield never played in the blue and white hoops?

Following Ross Lyon’s fascinating elephant analogy on Wednesday night’s Footy Classified, Billy’s List looks at animal encounters on the footy field.

Browny’s Quiz is again entering a time machine, this time travelling back to the 1980s. Will we see the team wearing shoulder pads and lycra?

With Gold Coast and Richmond set to face off on Monday night, Lloydy takes us back to 2012 in Lloydy’s Deep Dive. He investigated when cross-code convert Karmichael Hunt famously kicked a goal after the siren to beat the Tigers.

Plus the regular segments Caught My Eye and Vol-Kane-O.
