ESPN will come out swinging for the opening weekend of the new season, broadcasting a host of matches including the New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs opening series.
The action begins on July 24 as the New York Yankees take on the defending World Series Champions, Washington Nationals at 9am AEST to begin the new season.
The Los Angeles Dodgers then follow at 12pm AEST, as they welcome the San Francisco Giants to Dodgers Stadium in their MLB opener.
ESPN Australia New Zealand will in all showcase 29 live games from July 24 to August 25.
Further scheduling will be available as the season continues.
