On tonight’s stellar episode of The Masked Singer Australia, we served you up a double whammy of diva departures with not one, but two iconic queens, hanging up their crowns and bowing out of the competition.

Before unveiling themselves, our crack unit of powerhouse detectives Jackie O, Lindsay Lohan, Dave Hughes and Dannii Minogue had their final stabs at who was behind the masks.

For the superb Spider, Dave nominated 2019 Eurovision entrant Kate Miller-Heidke as being the crafty crawly. While Dannii reverted to her sequential guess of beloved Australian singer and actress Jessica Mauboy, Jackie and Lindsay were bang on the money with their guess of Paulini.

When asked why she wanted join the show, Paulini said: “I really loved the fact we were going to have costumes on and I could become other things and try out new genres.”

For the mythically magnificent Unicorn, Dave placed all bets on singer-songwriter Katie Noonan. Jackie and Lindsay were convinced it was an international artist, with Jackie locking in Michelle Williams and Lindsay speculating Kelly Osbourne. The voice was all too familiar for detective Dannii who successfully guessed Deni.

When asked why she wanted join the show, Deni said: “I love that it was purely the voice. I just thought it was really clever to be able to be truly yourself without having people judge what you look like.”

These two queens might have officially left their thrones, but The Masked Singer Australia journey continues for our final three performers.

A Wolf rolls with a pack, so tonight it made sense for our charismatic canine to cover world-famous boyband Backstreet Boy’s smash-hit Everybody. It’s official, this creature is a howling hoot.

Always choosing what’s on trend, ultra-modern Robot rocked it out to current chart-topper Nothing Breaks Like A Heart by Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson. Always wanting to be one step ahead of the game, he mashed it up with Dolly Parton’s timeless tune Jolene.

Proving the Monster is just a big softy, our pink, petite and passionate performer pulled on the heart strings with her rendition of Roxette’s 1988 banger Listen To Your Heart.

Do not miss next Monday night on The Masked Singer Australia, when Wolf, Robot and Monster go head-to-head and battle it out for final glory in an unmissable Grand Finale.

The Masked Singer Australia Grand Finale. Next Monday Night At 7.30pm. On 10 And WIN Network.
