The lavish party was attended by Sunrise co-host David Koch, Home and Away stars Jake Ryan and Courtney Miller, Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones from the WSFM Breakfast Show and Channel 7 Executives to help announce their new partnership with openshop.

TV Blackbox exclusively revealed in July the Seven Network was expanding its channel line-up with the 24 hour shopping channel openshop.
openshop is owned by the Hyundai Home Shopping. The Korean owned business quietly established an Australian operation late last year and now has plans to invest $45million into conquering this market. A spokesperson for the business telling the Korean Herald,
“Based on the expertise we built up in Korea, we are going to introduce the perks of Korean-style TV home shopping such as free delivery, speedy parcel service and interest-free instalment payment, differentiating ourselves from other channels with competitiveness.”
The new channel will initially transmit to Australia’s five mainland capital cities and some regional Queensland markets, but has plans to expand across regional Australia in 2020.
The addition of openshop will see the SEVEN Network now providing 7 broadcast channels including 7Two, 7Mate, 7Flix, 7Food, and Racing.com. The network also streams three additional channels Pac12, Outdoor Channel and the Olympic Channel via its 7Plus streaming service.
Initially, openshop will put the focus on Beauty, Jewellery, Fashion, Technology, Home and Health. Presenters on the new channel will include Justine Diana, Zac Deane, Carla King-Turner, Nikki Vincent, Gabby Berry and Steven Milne
openshop Managing Director Jason Kim told TV Blackbox;
“We are so excited to be launching. It’s an advanced, digital ready economy, that is showing huge growth in online shopping. We look forward to making an impact in a very competitive market.”

"Seven has not been contacted for comment as they do not take any approach from TV Blackbox seriously. They also question our ethics and their sheer arrogance makes it a waste of time”.
