Trust us, Rove McManus has got you sorted for your Saturday night with the aptly titled Saturday Night Rove and it’s only seven short days away.
Spend the peak of your week in front of the telly with one very familiar face (that’d be Rove), another familiar voice (Judith Lucy) and a few newbies (soon to be your new faves Alex Lee, Alex Jae and Justin Hamilton) who are all prepped to make you laugh and then some.
Plus, the fun and frivolity doesn’t stop there. Everybody’s favourite Jessica Mauboy, Luke McGregor and Venezuelan import Ivan Aristeguieta will join the party for one night only in front of a live studio audience. Who can blame them?

Exactly how "overwhelming" was the response to the pilot? This SMH story from a year ago is quite instructive. Seems Saturday Night rated very poorly, but got a lot of social-media engagement, although a lot of that was negative. Other shows from Pilot Week 2018 that performed better overall didn’t get commissioned, but Trial By Kyle did. Would it be cynical to suggest that after going through the motions of finding something new, Ten just went with the known quantities of Kyle and Rove?
