STAN confirms launch dates for THE L WORD: GENERATION Q and second season of Jim Carrey comedy KIDDING

STAN has confirmed premiere dates for two highly anticipated dramas.

The second season of Showtime series KIDDING starring Jim Carrey, will be available to stream on STAN from November 4. While THE L WORD: GENERATION Q featuring Jennifer Beals, will premiere on December 9

Jim Carrey returns in his Golden Globe nominated performance as the iconic children’s television host, Jeff Pickles, in the second season which picks up moments after season one’s cliffhanger. With his beloved ‘Mr. Pickles’ Puppet Time’ off the air for the first time in 30 years, Jeff Pickles must find a way to communicate with his many fans who still need him.

Jeff creates a new and controversial method to talk directly to children across the world only to become the target of animosity for the first time in his career. As Jeff navigates the most complicated moral grey areas of his life, he discovers a new side of himself in a season full of music, magic, puppets and pathos.  

KIDDING Season 2 will premiere only on Stan on November 4, 2019.

The highly anticipated sequel to the groundbreaking drama series THE L WORD®, titled THE L WORD: GENERATION Q will premiere on Monday, December 9.

It continues to follow the intermingled lives of Bette Porter (Beals), Alice Pieszecki (Hailey) and Shane McCutcheon (Moennig), along with new characters as they experience love, heartbreak, sex, setbacks and success in L.A. The series is currently in production on eight episodes in Los Angeles. Guest stars include Brian Michael, Stephanie Allyne, Olivia Thirlby, Fortune Feimster and Latarsha Rose.

THE L WORD: GENERATION Q is executive produced by showrunner Marja-Lewis Ryan (The Four-Faced Liar, 6 Balloons), with series creator Ilene Chaiken, Kristen Campo, Steph Green (pilot), and original series stars Jennifer Beals, Katherine Moennig and Leisha Hailey.
