NINE Melbourne will once again broadcast the My Room Telethon later this month.
The annual telethon is a crucial fundraiser for My Room; a volunteer organisation dedicated to raising funds to achieve a 100 per cent cure rate for childhood cancers.

This years Telethon will again be hosted by Eddie McGuire. The broadcast will feature a stack of 9 personalities and a line-up full of great local entertainers. A media launch event this week was hosted by Shane Crawford and Livinia Nixon.
The three previous My Room telethons have been presented under the Footy Show brand and have raised 3.6million for the charity.
This year’s broadcast has been scheduled to coincide with the AFL ‘bye weekend’ before finals allowing more big-name AFL footballers to be available for the show.
