Well, your life is about to get a whole lot more exhilarating because there is only one week to go until My Life Is Murder premieres on Wednesday, 17 July at 8.30pm.
Starring the one and only Lucy Lawless as former detective Alexa Crowe, this is one leading lady who just won’t give up. Or even shut up. There’s no gimmick to explain her personality, no diagnosis, no addiction, nothing to let her off the hook. And that’s the way she likes it. She’s a complex woman – smart, flawed, playful, chatty, irritated and compassionate – and she’s trying to keep her sense of humour, while struggling to find where she fits in the world she privately feels might be moving on without her.
Joining Alexa to solve the unsolvable murder mysteries is the bubbly, sarcastic, ambitious and grounded Data Analyst, Madison Feliciano (Ebony Vagulans). Running the team of Homicide Detectives and the man responsible for bringing Alexa back in to the world of murder is her long-time friend Kieran Hussey (Bernard Curry).
Of course, there’s also Alexa’s stubborn cat, Captain Thunderbolt. Yep, her cat. We’re going there. He’s Madison’s nemesis, Kieran’s biggest fan and the one personality Alexa will never quite crack.
And for those who simply can’t wait (zero judgment from us), the first episode of My Life Is Murder will be exclusive to 10 Play today, Wednesday, July 10 from 12.00pm for 48 hours.
