TV Blackbox can reveal the popular presenter is heading into the jungle.
Sources within ITV, the production company behind Channel 10’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, have revealed to this website that ex Channel 7 presenter, Luke Jacobz, will enter the jungle this Sunday.
Jacobz is well known to Australian viewers as the host of X Factor, a role he took over at the last minute after actor Matthew Newton was unable to fulfil hosting duties.
The last regular gig Jacobz has held was as the host of Instant Hotel but the actor/host has appeared on a number of local productions throughout the years, including a regular acting role on Heartbreak High for the ABC before becoming a host for Channel 7’s The Big Arvo and Popstars.
Rumours of Jacobz entering the jungle have been circulating for a few days with media commentator Peter Ford even sending a message to the actor;
Good luck in the jungle!
— Peter Ford (@mrpford) January 10, 2019
But now TV Blackbox can confirm 100% Jacobz is part of this years line-up. The confirmation comes after another tip to TV Blackbox that Ajay Rochaester has entered the jungle. TV Blackbox can confirm this is not idle speculation, but these two celebrities are confirmed.
By all accounts, the speculation in the press about who will appear on the shorter 4 week series this year appears to be correct. The only role that seems to have been kept secret is the US Celebrity role. WHO magazine reports Channel 10 is in negotiations with Pamela Anderson, but to still be negotiating at this late stage seems very strange.
TV Blackbox has heard the name Katherine Kelly Lang mentioned as a strong possibility. Lang is the star of Channel 10’s The Bold and The Beautiful and this would make sense as Lang has shown she is not afraid of poking fun at herself. In fact, many times while appearing on Channel 10’s Studio 10 she has taken part in pranks and even had pancake batter poured on her head.
You can see an example of Lang’s appearance on Studio 10 below;
Co-Creator and Editor of the TV Blackbox website, Robert McKnight is highly regarded Australian Television Producer, he has worked at SEVEN, NINE and TEN, and is most well-known for creating and producing STUDIO 10. Currently Rob is the host and producer of the TV Blackbox, McKnight Tonight and Monsters Who Murder podcasts.
