Network Ten is pleased to announce that Natalie Bassingthwaighte has joined the stellar cast of The Wrong Girl, playing Jack’s ex-girlfriend Gillian.
Successful, independent and vivacious, pastry chef Gillian is set to shake things up. Growing up in the restaurant business, she met Jack (Rob Collins) when he was an apprentice chef and they quickly fell into a long-term relationship. When Jack’s career started to progress, his lifestyle choices took a destructive turn, ultimately pushing Gillian away.
With Lily and Jack set to take their relationship to the next level, Gillian reappears to complicate Jack’s life.
With a long list of television credits including Brock, Neighbours and Underbelly: The Golden Mile, Natalie has received TV Week Logie Award nominations for Most Popular Actress and Most Popular Presenter, as well as two Gold Logie nominations.
Natalie Bassingthwaighte said: “I am beyond excited to be joining the incredibly talented cast of The Wrong Girl for season two. With such fabulous scripts and characters, I cannot wait to bring Gillian to life and for Australia to see how this season unfolds.”
