Weekend binge-watch: Orphan Black (SBS OnDemand, Stan, Netflix)

The fourth season premiere of this sci-fi thriller drops on SBS On Demand at 5pm on Friday April 15. If you haven’t seen the previous seasons, never fear. The first three seasons are available now for your viewing pleasure on Stan. The first two seasons are also available on Netflix. Season 2 is available on SBS On Demand, while Season 3 will drop this Sunday April 17. It’s confusing, but you will be able to stream all of Orphan Black and watch the Season 4 premiere this weekend.

The first three and a half seasons of this romantic/workplace sitcom dropped on Presto on April 1, and the back half of season four is fast-tracking from the US every Tuesday. Creator Mindy Kaling stars as Mindy Lahiri, an obstetrician and gynaecologist who’s trying to get her career off the ground and looking for love.

When a deadly virus breaks out in Atlanta, the city is quarantined, and its citizens become separated from their loved ones. From Julie Plec (The Vampire Diaries and The Originals), and David Nutter (Game of Thrones, The X-Files), new episodes will be fast-tracked from the US every Wednesday.

E.T. The Extra Terrestrial (Netflix, April 20)

This 1982 Spielberg film about an alien who becomes stranded on Earth introduced the world to Drew Barrymore. More importantly, its themes of friendship and tolerance resonated with audiences worldwide, and this classic is a great choice for family movie night.
