With just weeks to go until production commences on season nine of Australia’s Next Top Model, Foxtel announced today stunning Aussie model (and musician) Cheyenne Tozzi will join the show in a newly created role of model mentor alongside series regular Didier Cohen.
Each week both Tozzi and Cohen, who will leave the judging panel to also take on a new mentor role, will coach the girls extensively in the core values of modelling and fashion, ensuring they are fully prepared to get the most out of their crucial weekly photo shoot.
Together they will guide and nurture each contestant to achieve their best possible photo before they face the final and ultimate scrutiny of this year’s judges – Jennifer Hawkins, Alex Perry and a third special guest judge each week.
Cheyenne said, “I am excited to be continuing my work with the Foxtel family by joining their iconic flagship series.
“I love a new challenge and I had such a great time mentoring my girls on The Face Australia. I now look forward to sharing my knowledge and expertise with the girls on Australia’s Next Top Model and hopefully unearthing Australia’s next big supermodel.”
25-year-old Cheyenne was just 13 when she became one of the youngest models ever to grace the cover of prestigious Harper’s Bazaar. Since then, Cheyenne has become an international modelling sensation, gracing the covers of some of the world’s most famous fashion titles including Vogue, GQ, Cosmopolitan and Madam Figaro Magazine to name just a few.
Cheyenne has jetted all over the globe to work with some of the world’s leading fashion and lifestyle brands including Nike, Westfield, Billabong, Mambo and Marks & Spencer as well as shooting stories for international luxury labels including Chanel.
Earlier this year Cheyenne coached the winning model to success on FOX8’s The Face Australia, beating off fierce competition from fellow Supermodels Naomi Campbell and Nicole Trunfio.
