The Voice delivered another big moment on Seven last night, with one Blind Audition leaving all four Coaches eager to turn their chairs.
Sunshine Coast singer Edde Masson ultimately secured the four-chair turn after putting her own spin on a Melanie C classic, while Tones And I made another secret save.
Masson’s vocal looping arrangement gave Melanie C’s 2000 hit I Turn To You a very different sound, quickly prompting all four Coaches to take notice.
For Masson, the audition marked a return to music after becoming a mother and experiencing hyperemesis gravidarum during pregnancy, which affected her voice and left her unable to sing for an extended period.

Determined to rediscover herself through music, the 32-year-old returned to the stage and quickly had the Coaches taking notice, with Ronan Keating calling it one of the best auditions he had seen on The Voice and declaring she could win the competition.
Kate Miller-Heidke praised the performance as “the antithesis of karaoke”, while Richard Marx described it as hauntingly perfect.
Hearing her own song reimagined also struck a chord with Melanie C, who called Masson’s arrangement magical before welcoming her to Team Melanie C.
The Wave Raiders also earned two chair turns, with the Sunshine Coast trio performing their original song Don’t Want To Be Late.
The group, made up of two brothers and their best mate from primary school, impressed the Coaches with their punk-pop sound, songwriting and musicianship before choosing Team Kate Miller-Heidke.
Jerikye Williams also earned two chair turns after performing Chuck Berry’s Johnny B. Goode.
The 23-year-old Elvis tribute artist revealed his hair and styling routine can take up to two hours each day, while also sharing his ambition to become a positive role model for Aboriginal children.
Williams chose Team Ronan.
The episode also saw Tones And I make another secret save, stepping in after Moniquewa Williams failed to turn a chair with her performance of the Spice Girls’ Wannabe.
The 33-year-old admitted it wasn’t her strongest vocal performance, but Tones saw potential in her confidence, rap delivery and vocal ability, giving her another chance in the competition.
Williams becomes the eighth artist saved by Tones And I, following Red Roy, Jamie Koul, Lilita Keni, Dicko, Georgia Dabbous, Cris J and Mikayla Durrant.
