My Kitchen Rules is back for its 2024 season, launching 9 September on Channel 7. Catch Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge as they search for Australia’s top home cooks.
Channel 7 has announced that the 2024 season of My Kitchen Rules (MKR) will premiere at 7:30 pm on Monday, 9 September. The popular cooking competition, which returns to both Channel 7 and 7plus, is once again set to showcase Australia’s best home cooks as they compete for the coveted title of MKR champion.
This season will see celebrity chefs Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge reunite as co-hosts and judges, continuing their well-established partnership. Together, they will travel across the country in search of the most talented amateur chefs, sampling home-cooked meals that are expected to push culinary boundaries.
Feildel, a long-time fixture on the show, hinted at the quality of the dishes in this year’s competition, noting that he will taste
“the best dish I’ve ever had on MKR in 14 years.” One team will also earn the highest score ever recorded in the program’s history.
Colin Fassnidge echoed this enthusiasm, describing the competition as a platform where
“your personality is on a plate,” adding that cooking is ultimately about expressing oneself through food. Manu further emphasised the importance of “respecting the ingredients and making delicious food while keeping your cool under pressure.”
The competition’s final stages will take place at Kitchen HQ, where the top-performing teams will battle for the grand prize of $100,000 and the title of MKR champion.
