On Thursday, 02 Nov 2023, the national top 30 shows VOZ ratings were released, shedding light on Australia’s viewing preferences.

The data, sourced from VOZ, Australia’s innovative ‘Total TV’ standard, offers a comprehensive insight into TV set and connected device viewing. This extensive data collection includes metropolitan, regional, and streaming content across devices like ABC iview, 7plus, 9NOW, 10play, and SBS On Demand.

Evening News Bulletins:

Seven News led the ratings with a viewership of 1,294,000, closely followed by Seven News at 6.30 with 1,264,000 viewers. Nine News pulled in 955,000 viewers, with its 6:30 segment drawing 923,000 viewers. ABC News attracted 751,000 viewers.

The afternoon news segments also saw significant numbers with Nine’s Afternoon News at 355,000 and 10 News First bringing in 303,000 viewers. Seven News at 4.30 had 340,000 viewers tuning in.

Channel 7:

The channel’s entertainment offerings included Home and Away with 769,000 viewers and its late segment garnering 744,000 viewers. The movie, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, was watched by 320,000 viewers.

Channel 9:

The network saw A Current Affair drawing in 859,000 viewers. The programs RBT and Emergency had 619,000 and 537,000 viewers respectively.

Channel 10:

Viewers enjoyed The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Thursday with 524,000 viewers. The Project 7PM also caught attention with 361,000 viewers.

ABC:

The show 7.30 had 681,000 viewers. Martin Clunes: Islands of the Pacific attracted 506,000 viewers, and the repeat of Grand Designs was watched by 445,000 viewers.

SBS:

On SBS, Every Family Has a Secret saw 255,000 viewers tuning in.

Breakfast Shows:

Sunrise was the preferred choice with 420,000 viewers, followed by Today with 323,000 viewers, and News Breakfast-AM on ABC had 267,000 tuning in.

Afternoon Game Shows:

The popular game show, The Chase Australia, garnered 722,000 viewers, and its 5 PM segment brought in 468,000 viewers. Hot Seat from Channel 9 followed suit with 486,000 viewers and its 5 PM segment drawing 322,000 viewers. Tipping Point had a viewership of 387,000.
