On Wednesday, 1st November 2023, Australia tuned into their televisions, and the VOZ ratings have captured the nation’s viewing habits.

Here’s a look at the top 30 shows based on the National Top 30 Shows VOZ ratings data, Australia’s comprehensive ‘Total TV’ standard.

Evening News Bulletins:

Seven’s SEVEN NEWS took the lead with 1,331,000 viewers, closely followed by SEVEN NEWS AT 6.30 with 1,276,000 viewers. Nine’s NINE NEWS 6:30 and NINE NEWS came next with 1,027,000 and 1,005,000 respectively.

ABC NEWS attracted 770,000 viewers. Meanwhile, NINE’S AFTERNOON NEWS saw 366,000 viewers tune in, with Channel 10’s 10 NEWS FIRST gathering 291,000 viewers.

Channel 10:

On Channel 10, FOOTBALL: MATILDAS V CHINESE TAIPEI was watched by 672,000, while THE AMAZING RACE AUSTRALIA: CELEBRITY caught the attention of 482,000 viewers. The pre-game show for the football match garnered 370,000 viewers, and THE PROJECT 7PM had 366,000 viewers.

Channel 7:

Channel 7’s top entertainment shows after the news were HOME AND AWAY with 788,000, followed by the SAS AUSTRALIA – FINALE securing 619,000 viewers.

Channel 9:

The most-watched entertainment shows on Channel 9 included A CURRENT AFFAIR with 923,000, followed by the movie MY MUM YOUR DAD drawing 427,000.

ABC:

ABC’s entertainment line-up saw 7.30 with 718,000 viewers. HARD QUIZ repeat episode gathered 655,000 viewers, while QUESTION EVERYTHING had 543,000 viewers. The repeat of WOULD I LIE TO YOU? entertained 365,000 and PLANET AMERICA-LE rounded off with 273,000.

Breakfast Shows:

SUNRISE on Seven led the morning with 384,000 viewers. Nine’s TODAY had an audience of 332,000, and ABC’s NEWS BREAKFAST-AM brought in 274,000 viewers.

Afternoon Game Shows:

Seven’s THE CHASE AUSTRALIA had 786,000 viewers, followed by its 5 PM edition drawing 486,000. Nine’s HOT SEAT attracted 504,000 and HOT SEAT – 5PM pulled in 334,000 viewers. TIPPING POINT on Nine was watched by 394,000.

Remember, these numbers represent the combined ratings from metro and regional TV markets, as well as streaming services including ABC iview, 7plus, 9NOW, 10play, and SBS On Demand.
