National Top 30 TV VOZ Ratings for Sunday, 29 Oct 2023

This data represents the new ‘Total TV’ standard, combining both TV set and connected device viewing. The metrics incorporate metropolitan, regional, and streaming content available on various devices, including platforms like ABC iview, 7plus, 9NOW, 10play, and SBS On Demand.

Channel 9 dominated the ratings chart with THE BLOCK leading with 1,587,000 viewers. Their news segment, NINE NEWS SUNDAY, gathered a viewership of 1,089,000, while the ever-intriguing 60 MINUTES wasn’t far behind at 751,000 viewers.

Following up was NINE NEWS LATE with 422,000 viewers, and the 2023 RUGBY WORLD CUP – GRAND FINAL and its POST MATCH segment attracted 279,000 and 329,000 viewers respectively.

Lastly, ICC MEN’S ODI WORLD CUP 2023 – IND v ENG on Nine secured 240,000 viewers.

Channel 7 wasn’t far behind in the ratings game. SEVEN NEWS on Sunday reported 1,263,000 viewers. The thriller, THE 1% CLUB, garnered an audience of 847,000. RON IDDLES: THE GOOD COP saw 478,000 viewers, and the SUPERCARS CHAMPIONSHIP: GOLD COAST 500: SUNDAY RACE engaged 427,000 motorsport enthusiasts.

Two episodes of BORDER SECURITY – AUSTRALIA’S FRONT LINE recorded 566,000 and 321,000 respectively.

Over on Channel 10, FOOTBALL: MATILDAS v PHILIPPINES scored with 797,000 viewers. The news segment, 10 NEWS FIRST SUN, reached 348,000 viewers, and THE SUNDAY PROJECT 7PM attracted 383,000 viewers.

ABC had a variety of shows making the top list. ABC NEWS in the evening had 818,000 viewers. Travel enthusiasts tuned into JOANNA LUMLEY’S SPICE TRAIL ADVENTURE, which attracted 645,000 viewers.

Drama series ANNIKA and SHETLAND drew 614,000 and 487,000 respectively. INSIDERS in the morning engaged 546,000, while LANDLINE in the afternoon had 369,000 viewers.

OFFSIDERS in the morning reported 318,000 viewers, and WEEKEND BREAKFAST had 247,000 viewers. The classic ANTIQUES ROADSHOW garnered 243,000, while the midday news, ABC NEWS AT NOON, had 239,000 viewers.

This comprehensive data gives a clear snapshot of Australia’s viewing preferences, showcasing the diversity in content that the nation enjoys. Whether it’s sports, news, or entertainment, Australian networks continue to deliver a wide range of programs catering to all tastes.
