Australian TV VOZ Ratings Report: Saturday, 28 October 2023

Based on the National Top 30 Shows VOZ ratings data for Saturday, 28th October 2023, the ratings provide an insight into Australia’s new ‘Total TV’ standard.

The data, sourced from VOZ, offers a comprehensive look into TV set and connected device viewing across metropolitan, regional, and streaming services, including ABC iview, 7plus, 9NOW, 10play, and SBS On Demand.

Evening News Bulletins:

Leading the pack, Seven News – Sat drew a robust audience of 993,000 viewers. Close on its heels, Nine News Saturday garnered 771,000 viewers. The ABC News secured a place with 658,000 watchers, while 10 News First Sat rounded off with 259,000 viewers.

Channel 9:

At the forefront of Channel 9’s programming was the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 – AUS V NZL-S2 attracting 551,000 viewers, followed by the Pacific Championships – Kangaroos V Kiwis with 515,000 viewers. The ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 – AUS V NZL-S1 grabbed 500,000, while the innings break segment raked in 489,000 watchers.

Furthermore, ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 – AUS V NZL – S1 on GEM drew 400,000 viewers.

Rounding off, the Weekend Today – Saturday saw 254,000 viewers, the Weekend Today – Saturday – Late attracted 222,000, and Weekend Today – Early Saturday had 194,000 keen watchers.

Channel 7:

Channel 7’s offering began with the repeat episode of Border Security – Australia’s Front Line securing 633,000 viewers.

The movie Jerry Maguire pulled in 257,000 movie enthusiasts. Seven’s Horse Racing 2023-Cox Plate had 282,000 viewers, and the Supercars Championship: Gold Coast 500: Sat Race ended with 196,000 viewers.

ABC:

The ABC featured Shakespeare and Hathaway with 491,000 viewers, followed by Shetland, a repeat, with 232,000 watchers. ABC News at Noon registered 214,000 viewers.

Channel 10:

Over at Channel 10, The Dog House repeat episode drew an audience of 190,000 viewers.

SBS:
For SBS, the SBS World News was viewed by 204,000, and The Cotswolds with Pam Ayres attracted 195,000 viewers.
