Australian TV VOZ Ratings for Friday 27 Oct 2023 Revealed

In a comprehensive report released today, it has been revealed which shows Australia was tuning into on Friday, 27th October 2023.

This data is based on the National Top 30 Shows VOZ ratings, showcasing Australia’s viewing habits across metropolitan, regional, and streaming platforms, including ABC iview, 7plus, 9NOW, 10play, and SBS On Demand.

1,154,000 viewers tuned into SEVEN NEWS, making it the most-watched program of the evening. Closely following were SEVEN NEWS AT 6.30 with 1,061,000 viewers and NINE NEWS 6:30 drawing in 870,000 viewers. NINE NEWS and ABC NEWS reported 864,000 and 670,000 viewers, respectively.

SEVEN NEWS AT 4.30 reached 335,000 viewers, while NINE’S AFTERNOON NEWS had 363,000 and 10 NEWS FIRST had 294,000 viewers.

Channel 9

Leading the entertainment front for Channel 9 were A CURRENT AFFAIR with 749,000 viewers and BEACH HOUSE HUNTERS which attracted 402,000 viewers. The repeat of BRIDGET JONES’S DIARY engaged 230,000 viewers.

Channel 7

Channel 7’s prime-time show BETTER HOMES AND GARDENS had 634,000 viewers, and their morning offering, THE MORNING SHOW, reported 244,000 viewers.

Channel 10

Channel 10’s evening lineup showcased THE PROJECT 7PM with 267,000 viewers, followed by THE PROJECT 6.30PM at 217,000 and HAVE YOU BEEN PAYING ATTENTION? ENCORE rounded off with 214,000 viewers.

ABC

ABC’s programming saw GARDENING AUSTRALIA with 572,000 viewers and SHERWOOD at 456,000 viewers. MIDSOMER MURDERS repeat captivated 232,000 viewers.

For those early risers, SUNRISE was the breakfast show of choice with 408,000 viewers. TODAY and NEWS BREAKFAST reported figures of 321,000 and 248,000 respectively.

In the gameshow circuit, THE CHASE AUSTRALIA led with 671,000 viewers, followed by HOT SEAT which engaged 436,000. TIPPING POINT kept 227,000 viewers at the edge of their seats.

As Australia’s TV landscape continues to evolve, it’s evident that news and current affairs programs dominate our screens. These numbers give a clear insight into what the nation values in its viewing habits.
