Australian TV VOZ Ratings Report: Monday, 23 October 2023
On Monday, the 23rd of October, the National Top 30 Shows VOZ ratings data were released. This data encompassed both metro and regional TV markets, as well as streaming services like ABC iview, 7plus, 9NOW, 10play, and SBS On Demand.
The highlight of the evening was Seven News, leading the charts with a viewership of 1,372,000, closely followed by Seven News at 6.30 with 1,349,000 viewers.
The evening bulletins were intensely competitive, with 9News securing 1,041,000 viewers, and its 6:30 segment drawing 1,075,000. ABC News followed suit with a commendable 869,000 viewers. Afternoon updates also garnered attention, with Nine’s Afternoon News attracting 379,000, and 10 News First not far behind at 308,000.
Channel 9:
In terms of entertainment, The Block was the talk of the town, bringing in 1,154,000 viewers. Other notable shows from the network included A Current Affair and Hot Seat with respective viewers of 951,000 and 495,000.
ABC:
The national broadcaster had a series of captivating shows. 7.30 secured 876,000 viewers, closely followed by Australian Story with 858,000 and Four Corners with 714,000.
Channel 7:
With its news programs taking the lead, Channel 7 also had Home and Away drawing 837,000 viewers and SAS Australia – Mon intriguing 684,000.
Channel 10:
Keeping viewers engaged, Have You Been Paying Attention? had 793,000 viewers, while The Project 7pm interested 415,000.
Morning shows also saw considerable viewership. Sunrise started many Australians’ day with 410,000 viewers, while Today followed closely with 319,000.
The afternoon game shows had their share of the spotlight. The Chase Australia engaged 803,000 viewers, while Hot Seat entertained 466,000. Not to be left out, Tipping Point held its own with 397,000 viewers.
