Kyle and Leslie from House No.1 are once again at the centre of controversy on The Block.

After weeks of backlash for their questionable spatial planning, they’re now considering the addition of a nib wall in their open-plan living and dining area.

It’s a move that experts Scott and Shelley believe could be another misstep in the pair’s design journey. Will they heed the advice? Time will tell.

Hampton East’s Blockheads are up against the clock with only three days left to finish not one, but two kids’ rooms. While Kyle and Leslie face their own challenges, Scott and Shelley’s tour of the other houses showcases impressive progress.

They’re particularly taken aback by the rooms’ imaginative concepts and commendable execution.

In a twist that left viewers buzzing, Eliza and Liberty pulled off a major coup by enlisting the talents of Lego Masters’ Brickman to craft a toy cheetah for their space.

However, Scott quickly reminds the duo: “Nothing is for free when it comes to The Block.” To sidestep further controversy – especially in light of the swirling conspiracy theory suggesting the Melbourne sisters are Channel 9 insiders – Eliza and Liberty know they must compensate Brickman.

Otherwise, the chatter about their supposed insider advantage is only likely to amplify.

But it’s not all work and no play. In a lighter evening affair, Scott hosts a BBQ showdown, courtesy of Weber. The stakes? A whopping $15,000 in cash. One by one, the Blockheads grill their heart out, hoping to impress with their culinary skills.

It’s Brett, the undisputed BBQ king, who sizzles his way to victory with a dish that resonates with the judges. This marks his second Weber challenge triumph on The Block. And the cash prize?

It’s a timely boost for Kristy and Brett, whose build budget has seen better days.

The Block continues 7pm Sunday on Channel 9 and 9Now
