Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has agreed to join Mel and Tim on the desk, to unpack a week’s worth of news content.
Reflecting on the episode’s line up, Mel and Tim agree it’s quite the coup.
Melanie Bracewell said:
“I don’t know how we managed to get Albo to come on the show. I didn’t realise my Jacinda Ardern impersonations were that convincing. I just hope he doesn’t check my visa.”
Tim McDonald added:
“Great that the PM is coming on The Cheap Seats! I mean he thinks it’s Q&A, but still a win’s a win! We did have another guest lined up, but when Bad Avocado pulled out it was nice of Albo to step in at the last minute.”
