Their mission? Partner with Maggie in a pioneering social experiment to revamp an aged care home. They’re not just focusing on the food; they’re envisioning a complete experience overhaul, from the dining ambience to the adjacent gardens.

Over a span of four months, Maggie, accompanied by her proficient team, faces the daunting task of crafting a delectable yet nutritious menu for the facility’s residents. Parallelly, efforts are in full swing to breathe fresh life into the establishment’s communal spaces.

This endeavour stands out as Maggie’s loftiest yet. Success here might just pave the way for an innovative aged care model across Australia.

Maggie expressed her gratitude, emphasising the courage it takes for such an establishment to commit to transparent, transformative change.

Echoing her sentiments, Susie Jones, ABC’s Factual Department head, shared her excitement. She emphasised the series’ potential to trigger meaningful change, whilst entertaining viewers.

Artemis Media’s Celia Tait praised Maggie’s dedication and mantra, “every mouthful counts”. The endorsement didn’t stop there. Alex West from Screen Australia remarked on the series’ potential to spark significant discussions about Australia’s aged care future.
