Monday night’s episode of Farmer Wants A Wife on Channel 7 and 7plus was a real doozy, as our beloved farmers brought in their families to help them find true love.
As the end of their quest for romance nears, tensions ran high, and some ladies couldn’t handle the pressure of meeting potential in-laws.
With time running out, the farmers believed introducing the ladies to their families could guide them in picking the right partner. But Sam threw everyone a curveball, announcing that the families would be the ones to choose who goes on the final 24-hour date.
Over at Matt’s farm, the arrival of his family led to some drama at lunchtime. Olivia took charge of the menu, irking Chelsea and Annabelle. Annabelle expressed her frustration, saying, “I think Olivia does think that this is her farm, her home. It’s a bit bloody annoying.” Rachel chimed in, acknowledging Olivia’s good intentions but insisting that the meal should be a group effort.
Things heated up at Brad’s farm, too, as Shelby spilled the beans about Clare during her chat with Brad’s brother, Ryan. Shelby accused Clare of putting up a façade when Brad was around. Despite Shelby’s revelation, Brad’s family opted for Clare to have some one-on-one time with Brad, stating it was her turn.
Matt’s family, on the other hand, felt Annabelle hadn’t had a fair chance to spend time with him. They chose her for the final date, hoping it would give Matt some clarity.
Brenton’s dad and sisters were impressed by all three ladies vying for his heart, but ultimately decided on Sophie. They felt her rural background would help her handle the tough life on the farm.
Meanwhile, David’s family believed he needed to explore his connection with Lorelei further, as she “could be a good fit for him.”
