Regional broadcaster WIN News has confirmed the appointment of Sarah Cawte to their team as the Network Weather Presenter.
Based in the Wollongong newsroom, Sarah Cawte brings a wealth of experience to the role, having honed her reporting and presenting skills across multiple major networks.
Prior to joining WIN News, Cawte most recently served as a reporter and weather presenter for Seven News Queensland. She also has experience reporting for 9 Regional Wagga Wagga and 9 Queensland, as well as working as a line-up producer for 9 Darwin.
Throughout her career, Cawte has covered a wide range of issues, including floods, fires, crime, court cases, the 2020 Queensland state election, border closures, and the first vaccine roll-out during the COVID-19 pandemic.
WIN’s National Director of News, Stella Lauri, expressed her excitement in welcoming Sarah Cawte to the WIN News family.
