Rachel and Ryan are planning another modern bathroom, this time with some special tiles she’s sourced for a feature wall, which are expected to arrive on The Block today. Rachel experiences some anxiety as the arrival of the tiles is delayed by the suppliers. They arrive at the last possible moment.
Former Block contestants Kyal and Kara are filling in for Shelley in the walkarounds with Scott today because she is sick. When Kyal and Kara were on the show in 2014, they received three perfect tens on their first bathroom judging, so they are the ideal replacement.
Kyal and Kara are nice to everyone, but they aren’t sure about Ankur and Sharon’s tile choice in House No.2.
Scott Cam has a slight crack at Rachel and Ryan for budget issues and it brings on a flood of tears. Rachel believes Scotty is never complimentary of her and Ryan’s efforts.
Rachel is in tears again as Omar and Oz host a dinner to celebrate the end of Ramadan at Scotty’s house. Scott explains his criticisms only come from a place of tough love. He wants them to succeed.
