Channel 10’s decision to invest in new reality formats appears to be a winner with the highly promoted premiere episode of Hunted delivering strong audience figures for the network.

Sunday night’s premiere episode of the Australian version of Hunted was watched by a national audience of 884,000 viewers (619k metro). While it was a strong start for the new Channel 10 series, it was not enough to win the night based on national data.

That honour went to the first of two Hey Hey It’s Saturday – Red Faces specials on Channel 7 with a national audience of 944,000 viewers nationally (592k metro). Strong audience figures in regional markets once again playing a key role for the network.

  1. This is one of the most digusting shows ever produced. This show is about human abuses in real time. Why would anyone produce a show that shows humans being hunted down. There are so many people in australia that left countries because of being hunted down and fearing for thier lives , many from war torn countries seeking safety here. Then there are the children, men and women who have been sex trafficked , or the abused person who is hunted down by the abuser just a few who would be triggered and traumatised.
This show needs to stopped and removed from main stream tv. Shame on you channel 10 . What if this triggers a real life “hunger games”
