In a further nod to acknowledging that audiences are accessing ABC content across multiple devices, from today, ABC2, ABC3 and ABC KIDS will be available to watch live, alongside ABC and ABC News 24 on iview.
Audiences can now watch any ABC broadcast TV channel live whenever and wherever they like – including on computers, smartphones and tablets.
To stream any ABC channel live on iview visit iview.abc.net.au or download the latest version of the iview app from the App Store or Google Play and head to the channel page to ‘Watch Live’.
All live streams reflect ABC’s Sydney schedule meaning that viewers in other states are currently unable to live stream their local 7pm news bulletins. However all local news bulletins are made available for ‘catch-up’ later in the evening
As well as live streaming, ABC iview had today launch a new online series, Moment of Truth.
The 10 x 10 minute documentary series, Moment of Truth explores the hidden lives of Australians. Each self-filmed story explores a surprising personal confession or revelatory moment of truth. From a young woman grappling with the task of revealing herself as transgender to her family, to a porn star coming clean to her partner, Moment of Truth is ‘emotional, hard-hitting and intimate’.
