I came across this piece of audio on a local radio station and found it hilarious. I believe it could well be the worst example of horse race commentary ever. I believe it is from an Australian Horse race held on the 26th of December 2007. If anyone has other examples please contact me as I would like to start a collection.

I must nominate the man who called the 2009 Kentucky Derby for NBC. It was the greatest come from behind victory, and the largest winning margin in a long time, and he had no clue what was going on until the winning horse was leading by 2 lengths. It was as though he was totally oblivious to any horses except the favorites, almost like he was watching a different race. He should be put out to pasture. His career is over, and if he has an ounce of dignity he will resign. Check it out on YouTube or NBC.
