The doctors return for a dramatic twelfth season of Married to Medicine on Hayu this December

Reality fans can look forward to more medical drama and friendship tension when Married to Medicine returns for its twelfth season, streaming on Hayu from December 1.

Returning this season are Dr. Jackie Walters, Dr. Simone Whitmore, Dr. Contessa Metcalfe, Toya Bush Harris, Quad Webb, and Dr. Mimi Sanders. Dr. Heavenly Kimes is back as a friend while pursuing a political campaign, joined by new faces Angel Love Davis and Brandi Milton, both accomplished nurses making their mark on Atlanta’s social and medical circles.

The series, produced by FremantleMedia North America and developed by Purveyors of Pop, once again follows the women as they juggle demanding careers, family responsibilities and friendship tensions.

According to the network, this season sees the group “working toward being better sisters,” though old wounds and long-held grudges threaten to resurface.

Dr. Jackie continues to expand her business ventures while supporting Miss Quad through her IVF journey. At the same time, she’s not afraid to call out friends for comments about her husband, Curtis, even if it means creating new friction within the group.

Dr. Simone is looking to rebuild bridges, including with Quad, after a late invitation sends her temper flaring. With her sons now college graduates, she’s preparing for the next stage of life with husband Cecil, though she’s determined to curb what she sees as her children’s sense of entitlement.

For Toya and Dr. Eugene, life in their “forever home, part two” brings fresh challenges as Eugene’s job takes him two hours away. With her children growing quickly, Toya hopes to reunite the group but may be expecting too much.

Miss Quad is embracing new beginnings with her son King while pursuing IVF and acting as Dr. Heavenly’s campaign manager. She’s also open to reconciling with Dr. Simone, but time will tell whether they can meet halfway.

Dr. Contessa is expanding her medical practice with husband Dr. Scott, recently purchasing a new building for their ventures. Between business growth and party planning, she’s looking to Scott for more than just financial support.

Meanwhile, Dr. Mimi remains a calming influence in the circle. She and husband Steve host their first polo classic as she navigates her growing business and the group’s ongoing tension.

Dr. Heavenly faces a turbulent season with her political ambitions and family issues colliding, as not all her friends believe she belongs on the ballot.

Newcomer Angel—a nurse, entrepreneur and single mum—joins as Quad’s loyal ally, while Brandi, a med spa owner and Dr. Simone’s friend, isn’t afraid to read the ladies when the moment calls for it.

Married to Medicine Season 12 will stream on Hayu from 1 December, premiering the same day as in the USA.
