Network 10 has officially joined Boomtown, a collective of major media companies working to highlight the reach and impact of regional Australian audiences for advertisers.
The move follows Paramount Australia’s recent acquisition of the Southern Cross Austereo affiliate stations across regional Queensland, southern New South Wales, and Victoria, as well as signing terms to purchase WIN’s stations in Northern NSW earlier last month.
The acquisitions strengthen 10’s direct regional presence, guaranteeing the supply of 10’s content to these areas for years to come, and offers advertisers streamlined buying across both metro and regional markets through a unified sales team.

10’s strategic acquisition comes amid a broader consolidation in regional television, with SCA recently announcing an agreement to sell its remaining licences to Australian Digital Holdings, and follows Seven West Media’s full acquisition of Prime Media Group in late 2021.
Nick Bower, General Manager – Ad Sales at Paramount Australia & New Zealand, welcomed the new partnership, noting Boomtown’s role in showcasing the impact of regional audiences.
“We know our clients and partners already value the impact regional can have,” Bower said.
“We couldn’t be happier to join Boomtown and continue to help regional media thrive.”

Boomtown launched back in 2019 and aims to promote the value of regional audiences by providing insights, research, and industry collaboration to showcase advertising opportunities outside of metro areas.
Network 10 now joins other Australian media companies in the collective, including Seven, Nine, WIN, Southern Cross Austereo, and News Corp Australia.
