A legend in the television, radio, stage and overall entertainment industry, Bert Newton was Australia’s favourite face throughout his entire career. His commitment to everything he worked on was commendable, as was his ability to shine in the spotlight.
He was awarded four Gold Logie awards in his lifetime, but was perhaps more known as the host of the awards show, which he did on 19 occassions.
TV Blackbox readers have deservedly honoured the star with this final commendation at the TV Blackbox Awards.
Vale, Bert Newton.
