NineHD and 9Life to be switched off for regional viewers
With the big switch-over for regional viewers just two weeks away, Southern Cross Austereo has confirmed it will not be able to provide regional viewers access to 9HD and 9Life at launch.

The Nine Network is now simulcasting in high definition (HD) on 9HD, located on Channel 90. The new HD broadcast began at 5:00am this morning.

Next week will see the long-awaited launch of the Nine Network in High Definition plus the arrival of a new multi-channel 9LIFE, but it now appears certain a significant portion of the population will not have access to the new services at launch.
