Natarsha Belling is set to take the reins of Seven’s new midday news program, replacing the previous 11:30am bulletin with a new hour-long, live update on major stories from Australia and abroad.
The previous 11:30am news bulletin has been replaced by a new hour-long midday bulletin under news boss Anthony De Ceglie, with The Morning Show extended by 30 minutes to fill the gap. As a result, we understand previous presenter Ann Sanders will now only present the 4pm Sydney news, marking a significant change to her role.
This announcement comes as Belling also prepares to join Triple M’s new breakfast show in 2025, marking a busy year ahead for the popular presenter.

Scrap Sanders her voice is boring
How many news bulletins do TV networks need? If news content is cheaper to produce why don’t you just make a news channel and not bother about a main channel. Serious these FTA channels are just basically news bulletins mixed in with a spray of game shows, reality tv and infomercial morning shows sprinkled with sports across weekend.
Scott Mitchell wrong mindset, a dedicated news channel would be more expensive and more effort to produce and where the effort isn’t being delivered becomes a mess of pre recorded and content from other networks.
ABC has fallen down this rabbit hole after abandoning 24 hour presentation on the channels (TV and Radio) and opting to re run content off other channels or live content from partner networks.
