The opening match of the NRL’s Round 5 will see the Brisbane Broncos take on the Melbourne Storm in what promises to be a thrilling encounter on Thursday Night Footy, broadcast live and free across Channel 9HD and 9Now.

This clash pits two of the league’s formidable teams against each other, with the Broncos seeking to overturn their recent poor form at AAMI Park. Since 2016, the team has endured seven consecutive defeats at this venue, putting pressure on halfback Adam Reynolds to spearhead a victory against the 2023 Grand Finalists.
