10’s I’m A Celebrity finale was no match for the Aus Open Men’s final, running to the wee hours of Monday morning.
While not as big as Saturday night, the 2022 Australian Open – Men’s Final (866,000 pre-match; 1,613,000; 1,058,000 presentation) delivered a massive result for Nine. The presentation took place 1:30am Monday morning!
Nine first in both primary (49.3%) and network (54.4%) rankings.
New Border Security (509,000) and Crime Investigation Australia (271,000) led the way for Seven, then it flipped over to a repeat of MOVIE: The Greatest Showman (102,000).
Seven second in both primary (10.3%) and network (15.6%) rankings.
The Sunday Project (260,000 6:30pm; 405,000 7pm) leaps out of the gates for 10, however it’s the finale of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! (,000 avg (576,000 finale; 617,000 winner)) that really struggles (unsurprising really, given the competition). Wasn’t even in the top five for the season. A double repeat of FBI (235,000; 115,000) fills out the night. Only just lands in third place in primary numbers.
10 third in both primary (9.4%) and network (13%) rankings.
ABC lead with new Muster Dogs (421,000) and Vera (447,000), followed by repeats of Doc Martin (80,000) and Harrow (43,000).
ABC fourth in both primary (9.3%) and network (11.6%) rankings.
Documentaries packed into SBS’s Sunday including Great Wall of China (116,000), Auschwitz: One Day (119,000), and a repeat of World’s Biggest Murder Trial: Nuremberg (100,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (3.5%) and network (5.3%) rankings.
