EDDIE MCGUIRE returns with Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Sports Special

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire will return to primetime again next week with a special episode featuring sporting legends.

The Australian sport stars special will feature athletes including basketball legend Andrew Gaze, AFL hero Gary Ablett Jr, AWFL’s Tayla Harris, NRL icon Billy Slater, Netball’s Geva Mentor, Olympic swimmer Mack Horton and Paralympian Jess Gallagher.

All of the contestants will be competing for their chosen charities.

The special was filmed earlier this year, at this stage the network has no plans to produce further episodes.

A whopping total of $82,785,000 has been won on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and Millionaire Hot Seat over the past 22 years.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire airs Thursday May 13 at 7:30pm on Nine and 9Now
