It’s been a long time coming, but Winter is finally here and so is season seven of Game of Thrones. And if the season premiere is anything to go by, showrunners David Benioff and D.B Weiss are pulling out all stops to lay the groundwork for the final season, next year.

I think we need to take a moment to process all that happened in the season finale of Wentworth.  Because if you thought the death of Bea Smith last season would be a hard act to follow, you ain’t seen anything.

At 51 minutes, “Coup de Grace” is one of the longest episodes this season of Wentworth.  We needed every one of those minutes set things up for next week’s season finale.

It’s getting a whole lot more serious as we approach the final episodes of Wentworth. So, sit down and buckle up because it gets kind of intense.

The pieces are beginning to fall into place as we near the end of season five of Wentworth. Yet there’s still plenty of story to tell.

After the roller coaster ride of the previous two episodes, this week’s Wentworth offering was a somewhat more ‘subdued’ affair. But it sets us up nicely for the final two episodes of the season.

 So, Joan Fergusson has a new name to go with The Freak.  She’s now Top Dog of Wentworth.  And don’t the women know it.

As an actor, it must be an absolute blast (and liberating) to play a character that is the epitome of “TV evil”. You can give free reign to whatever may lurk in the very deep recesses of your soul to make your character the quintessential ‘bad guy’.
