GOOD MORNING SAMOA, it’s the beginning of the end and the last Survivor Sunday for 2024. Only 5 Castaways remain. Let’s recap Australian Survivor: Titans Vs Rebels S9 Ep 22, on Channel 10 and 10 play.
There’s only 5 castaways and 3 days remaining, people! Feras, Kirby, Mark, Caroline and Raymond are left. It’s anyone’s game but some castaways are feeling a lot safer than others.
So who doesn’t feel safe? Caroline and Mark are in the minority and desperately trying to search for an idol which – despite owning one himself – is making Feras nervous. But he has a genius idea and all he needs is Slay-monds Oscar winning acting skills.
“I don’t think I can pull it off,” Raymond says sheepishly but they’ve fooled the tribe once and Feras thinks they can do it again. Feras plants his idol somewhere for Raymond to pretend to find.
So off Raymond goes to search an area that Mark has already thoroughly searched and GASP! Raymond acts all sneaky and pockets an idol. Caroline and Mark are devasted, their search is off (which is exactly what Feras wanted). Move over, Hilary Swank, Slaymond is going for his second Oscar winning performance.
In today’s immunity challenge now is not the time to DROP THE BALL, literally. Kirby winks at JLP. She’s expecting to be wearing the necklace again whilst its still warm. But her hopes of winning immunity are dashed when she poorly times the ball drops and finishes 4th.
It all comes down to a showdown between Mark and Feras. Mark wins his first-ever challenge and is safe from tonight’s vote.
“Mark wearing that necklace hurts my heart. I know I am 100% in trouble.” Kirby says.
Upon returning to tribal, the mood is pretty grim. Feras has had an idol since forever (he’s carried through 12 tribals), Mark has won immunity and everyone thinks Raymond has an idol therefore cannot be voted out. Caroline and Kirby believe the only option is to vote for each other.
Kirby can feel the pinch but if we’ve learnt anything from this season, Kirby will not go down without a fight. And if I’ve learnt anything – as someone who joined a competitive tennis team by simply asking – all you need to do is ask!
Which is exactly what Kirby does to Feras. “Can you play your idol for me?” She simply asks. Go girl.
“I never thought of that,” Feras says, taken aback. It just might work.
Feras finds himself particularly torn, he promised to take Kirby to the final two with him but everyone else is telling Feras if he does that, he is destined to lose against Kirby. “I have gone from the smiling assassin to the frowning assassin.” He ponders.
At tribal, Feras and Mark have their blingy immunity necklaces on display. Mark nudges Raymond, “Aren’t you going to show the idol?”
“Nah, I’m just going to wait until the end and do the big flashy thing.” Raymond buys himself time.
Once the votes are in; “Does anyone have any idols?” JLP asks one last time for 2024.
Raymond shrugs and everyone but him and Feras are pissed. This could have been such an easy vote.
As Feras approaches JLP he launches into a big speech about Raymond’s fake idol and how “Kirby’s fate lies in this idol… Kirby’s like a big sister to me, we’ve had our ups and downs.” And just as I start to suspect this sounds a lot like a MAFS final commitment ceremony, “I realised, I haven’t been backing myself.” As Feras realises this, I check the channel and frown, are we sure this isn’t a final commitment ceremony.
“I would like to play this for idol me. I finally get to land my shot.” Feras hands his idol to JLP and the votes come flying in.
Caroline. Kirby. Kirby. Kirby. Caroline.
The 20th person voted out… Kirby. One of the games biggers players, this year is devasted to be gone.
“I did not expect Feras to do that to me.” Kirby admits.
So Mark and Caroline know now that Raymond doesn’t have a idol and neither does Feras because he just played his and they will be able to go idol hunting now
Kazza Ricks I don’t think you can use them after tonight’s tribal
