WHAT’S NEW ON FOXTEL THIS WEEK

Monday June 3 to Sunday June 9, 2019Programming available to stream live and On Demand on Foxtel, Foxtel Now and Foxtel Go^

On Foxtel this week, things are hectic.

For its many fans, the hit series Deadwood ended way too soon – but a new follow-up film is luckily coming our way! Some time has passed in the titular mining town, but with South Dakota on the brink of statehood, emotions are running high – and former rivalries are reignited. Of course, at the centre of it all is foul-mouthed saloon owner Al Swearengen, played by Ian McShane, and we can’t wait to see what unfolds.

Also arriving this week is gripping new drama The Hot Zone, starring Julianna Margulies and Game of Thrones’ Liam Cunningham, and based on Richard Preston’s nonfiction novel about the outbreak of the Ebola virus and what happened when some infected monkeys ended up in a US lab. It’s compelling stuff and you won’t want to miss an episode.

More danger abounds in the hit series Fear the Walking Dead – the successful spin-off of The Walking Dead – which has built a huge following of its own. This season, another cast member from the original series crosses over, ready to join the battle between humans and the undead.

Speaking of confrontations, get a huge fix of blockbuster battles featured in the impressive Comic Book Legends Movie Event. Starting Friday morning and running over four days, it’s the marathon to end all marathons, with plenty of superhero stars at your disposal. Avengers: Infinity War, Justice League, the X-Men franchise and more are ready to deliver some OTT action.

For thrills of the sporting kind, the ICC Cricket World Cup continues on FOX CRICKET as our guys head into two must-see matches.
