What’s New on Foxtel This Week? Monday April 22 to Sunday April 28, 2019

Programming available to stream live and On Demand  on Foxtel, Foxtel Now and Foxtel Go^

Richard E Grant and Melissa McCarthy are brilliant BFFs in Can You Ever Forgive Me?

Foxtel is streaming the hottest new drama, movies and entertanment, live and On Demand, including: Game of Thrones, stream live with the world, stream every episode on demand Thrones 360, stream every episode Thronecast, stream on demand True Detective S1-3, stream every episode Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, stream every episode Roswell, New Mexico, stream every episode The Domestics, stream on FoxFlicks The Smurfs, stream on FoxFlicks

We’re in a questioning mood this week on Foxtel.

First up, we’re asking who’ll be victorious at the annual Anzac Day match between Essendon and Collingwood, a must-see clash in the 2019 AFL Toyota Premiership calendar. The Magpies have triumphed more than the Saints in the last few years – but this season you’d be hard pressed to know who to tip, it could go either way.

There are plenty more on-field quandaries to be solved in the AFL’s latest round; not to mention some great NRL Telstra Premiership clashes; the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix revs up; and there’s some fantastic surf action at the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach.

If you’re wondering whether Bridesmaids star Melissa McCarthy has got what it takes to deliver a moving dramatic performance, the fantastic Can You Ever Forgive Me? will answer that. McCarthy excels playing  literary forger Lee Israel. She earned herself an Academy Award nomination for her efforts (as did co-star Richard E Grant, too!).

Of course, the world has been wondering what comes next on Game of Thrones, and after arriving with much fanfare last week, it will deliver plenty of surprises this week, and then catch aftershows Thrones 360: LIVE and Thronecast. There’s already plenty to ponder!

Our last question? What is the cutest TV event every year? There’s only one answer to that – the Puppy Bowl! It’s totally awww-some.

Continuing series include: Game of Thrones (FOX SHOWCASE), Thrones 360: LIVE (FOX8 and FOX SHOWCASE), Thronecast (FOX SHOWCASE), Keeping Up with the Kardashians (E!), Selling Houses Australia (Lifestyle), Veep (FOX SHOWCASE), Barry (FOX SHOWCASE), What We Do in the Shadows (FOX SHOWCASE), Victoria (BBC First), The Real Housewives of New York City (Arena), Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists (FOX8), American Idol 2019 (FOX8), Baptiste (BBC First), The Real Housewives of Cheshire (Arena), Jane the Virgin (FOX8), Hold the Sunset (UKTV), Brent Owens Unwraps Mauritius (Lifestyle Food), Frankie Drake Mysteries (13th STREET), Michael McIntyre’s Big Show (UKTV), Better Things (FOX SHOWCASE), TRL (MTV), The Good Karma Hospital (UKTV), Hostile Planet (National Geographic), Building Giants (BBC Knowledge), The Indian Dream Hotel on Tour (Lifestyle), In Ice Cold Blood (13th STREET), Escape to the Chateau (Lifestyle), Holmes and Holmes (Lifestyle Home), Treehouse Masters (Discovery Channel), George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces (Lifestyle), Very Cavallari (E!), LadyGang (E!), Mega Marine Machines (Discovery Science), 90 Day Fiancé (TLC), The Great Kiwi Bake Off (Lifestyle Food), Storage Wars (A&E), Bang on Budget (Lifestyle Home), The Jim Jefferies Show (The Comedy Channel), Landscape Artist of the Year (foxtel arts), My 600-Lb Life (TLC), Game of Clones (MTV), The Directors (foxtel arts), The Curse of Oak Island (A&E), SCREEN (foxtel arts), Outback Opal Hunters (Discovery Channel), Vanderpump Rules (Arena), The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (Arena), Good Trouble (FOX8), Explorer (National Geographic), Good Bones (Lifestyle Home), Secret Life of the Zoo (Animal Planet), The Magicians (SYFY), Expedition Unknown (Discovery Channel), The Challenge: War of the Worlds (MTV), Texas Metal (Discovery Turbo), Forged in Fire (A&E), My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding (TLC), Coroner (Universal Channel), Vanity Fair Confidential (Crime + Investigation), The Graham Norton Show (UKTV), Bondi Vet (Animal Planet), Trans AM (Discovery Channel), World’s Busiest Cities (BBC Knowledge), Fake or Fortune?
