Reports indicate DAZN is in talks to acquire Foxtel, potentially expanding its presence in the Australian market through Foxtel's pay TV and streaming services.
The Sporting News has partnered with DAZN to commercialise its content across Australia and New Zealand, following a similar deal with beIN Sports in September.
The tournament – which features four of the most winning European and American club teams in the history of the sport, includes many players that have just returned from Tokyo with shiny new hardware around their necks.
As part of this landmark agreement, and to further grow the sport, DAZN has also entered into a partnership with YouTube that will make the competition live and free for fans around the world for the first time.
