That evening Milly told Micah the wedding was off and Micah stormed through the retreat while Dannii and Denton supported a distressed Milly.

At the last minute, Laurelle arrived and Nathan was overjoyed. It was an emotional moment for them both with Laurelle almost too overwhelmed to speak.

Dannii and Denton’s houseboat holiday took a dive when Dannii confided in her mum, Donna and sister, Dee, that she had doubts about getting married. When Denton found out, he confronted Donna and Dee, blaming them for seeding doubt in Dannii’s mind.

JoJo is disgusted and tells her parents that they will be out of their lives after they are married. 

Sleepovers at the in-law’s houses continued with therapist Leanne Hall hoping the time without any distractions would bring the families closer together and show them just how far they had come.

Tori and James played croquet with Mary-Ann. This was the first time Tori and Mary-Ann had seen each other since their fiery therapy session.

Jess and JoJo opened up about the worst day of their lives in an emotional meeting with JoJo’s parents Sid and Lody. JoJo and her parents share the pain of losing JoJo’s twin sister, Diane, in a tragic childhood accident.

Tori refused to meet her mother, Mary-Ann, alone opting instead for a therapy session during which she opened up to Mary-Ann about the lack of motherly love she felt she had growing up.

Sid and Lody invited Jess and JoJo out for lunch. JoJo had her own plans and asked her mum if just the two of them could go. She wanted to have an honest, one-on-one chat which turned into an emotional lunch where JoJo revealed she'd kissed other girls and struggled with her sexuality.

All couples revealed they were happy with their sex life, except for Dannii who admitted their sex life was almost non-existent because her mother’s opinions were getting in her head, impacting her emotional connection with Denton.

Mary-Ann presented James with a list of ‘respect goals’ to follow, but he was outraged when she inferred he had a substance abuse problem and stormed off in disgust.

Leanne’s first task for the couples continued with JoJo, Dannii and Nathan having to listen to their parents without interrupting for 60 seconds. JoJo jumped right in asking her parents what they are afraid of.

Bride and Prejudice: The Forbidden Weddings will premiere next week in the Wednesday and Thursday 7:30pm timeslots. A move that Seven is hoping will capture an audience that is usually loyal to The Bachelor franchise.
