Zooey Deschanel comedy series New Girl finds a new home at SBS On Demand
After being bounced around the schedule by various networks. The Zooey Deschanel comedy New Girl has found a new home on SBS On Demand
From Tuesday, 1 October all seven seasons will be available to stream. This is the first time all seasons have been available together. New Girl will also start screening from the very beginning on SBS VICELAND, weeknights at 6.00pm from Monday, 7 October
New Girl is an ensemble comedy that takes a modern look at friendship and romance, as a group of five friends attempt to find their respective places in the world, while begrudgingly accepting the responsibilities of adulthood - with often hilarious results.
After going through a rough breakup, awkward and upbeat Jess (Zooey Deschanel) moves in with three single guys. Intelligent and witty Nick (Jake Johnson) is an underachiever who took the bartender off-ramp on his road to success. Schmidt (Max Greenfield) obsesses over his social standing and looks at Jess as a personal project. Winston (Lamorne Morris) is a competitive former athlete who, after realising he will never become a pro, moves into the loft. Together with Jess' best friend, Cece (Hannah Simone), they bond to form an unlikely, and dysfunctional, family.
Queen of quirky Zooey Deschanel leads an incredible cast as she navigates through the twists and turns of life. New Girl’s seventh and final season is set three years after season six’s gripping finale.
