AMERICAN HORROR STORY 1984 is being expressed from the US on Fox Showcase
Groundbreaking anthology horror drama series American Horror Story is set to return for its ninth instalment, AHS: 1984, streaming on Foxtel and screening on FOX SHOWCASE this September
Viewers can catch up on all of the first eight seasons of American Horror Story including the original series one, Murder House starring Connie Britton, Dylan McDermott and Jessica Lange. Every episode of all available eight seasons of American Horror Story is currently available to stream through Foxtel On Demand on internet-connected iQ set-top-boxes and on Foxtel Now.
Created and produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, the new 10-part season nine of the cult series is inspired by the slasher movie era that spawned classics like ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’, ‘Friday the 13th’ and redefined the horror genre in cinemas around the world.
AHS: 1984 cast members include American Horror Story veterans Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, John Carroll Lynch and Australian Cody Fern (The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story). New cast includes Olympic skier Gus Kenworthy, who will portray Roberts’ boyfriend, Pose star Angelica Ross, Matthew Morrison, DeRon Horton (Dear White People) and Zach Villa.
Want more Ryan Murphy shows to binge watch? Foxtel On Demand is screening both seasons one and two of Pose and the limited series Feud: Bette and Joan starring Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon.
Set in the 1980s, Pose is a ground-breaking dance musical that explores the juxtaposition of several segments of life and society in New York: the ball culture world that inspired Madonna’s 1990 hit “Vogue”; the rise of the luxury Trump-era universe; and the downtown social and literary scene.
Making television history, Pose features the largest cast of transgender actors in series regular roles, as well as the largest recurring cast of LGBTQ actors ever for a scripted series. The transgender cast includes Mj Rodriguez, Dominique Jackson, Indya Moore, Hailie Sahar and Angelica Ross, who co-star alongside Evan Peters, Kate Mara, James Van Der Beek, Sandra Bernhard, Tony Award® winner Billy Porter, Charlayne Woodard, and newcomers Ryan Jamaal Swain, Dyllón Burnside and Angel Bismark Curiel. Pose was co-created by Ryan Murphy and he directed the first two episodes of the first season. Pose is produced by Fox 21 Television Studios and FX Productions.
Feud: Bette and Joan is an eight episode drama telling the story of the legendary rivalry between Joan Crawford (Jessica Lange) and Bette Davis (Susan Sarandon) during their collaboration on the thriller What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? and well after the cameras stopped rolling. The series explores how the two women endured ageism, sexism, and misogyny while struggling to hang on to success and fame in the twilight of their careers. Ryan Murphy serves as executive producer. The series is produced by Fox 21 Television Studios.
All these shows are available to stream for Foxtel Drama subscribers with all titles On Demand via internet connected iQ3 and iQ4 boxes, on devices with Foxtel Go, and for Foxtel Essentials subscribers via Foxtel Now.
