ABC brings in the big guns for Election Night coverage

Join the ABC’s expert team for all the latest from the 2019 Federal Election.

In a day of dedicated programming, the country’s best political minds will gauge the mood of voters as they head to the polling booths, and keep you updated as the race for government approaches its final stage.

Start the day at 7am (AEST) with Weekend Breakfast to look back on the election campaign whilst looking forward to what lies in store for Australians as they cast their vote.

Stay with the ABC throughout the day and into the evening for lively and insightful commentary with rolling news coverage from around Australia.

At 5pm (AEST), Jeremy Fernandez hosts a special one-hour edition of ABC News on ABC TV and ABC News Channel, with a round-up of the day’s big stories while crossing to reporters across the nation as polling booths prepare to close.

From 6pm (AEST) the ABC will bring you Australia Votes: Election Night Live on ABC TV and ABC NEWS Channel.
