Australian TV VOZ Ratings – Wednesday 18th October 2023

News Bulletins:

Channel 7 remained a formidable force in the evening news slot. 7NEWS (1,368,000), 7NEWS AT 6.30 (1,288,000), 7NEWS AT 4.30 (301,000) stood tall.

Meanwhile, Channel 9’s 9NEWS (951,000) and 9NEWS 6:30 (945,000) kept pace.

ABC NEWS made a solid appearance with 762,000, accompanied by NINE’S AFTERNOON NEWS (356,000) and 10 NEWS FIRST (269,000).

Channel 9:

THE BLOCK – WED was a standout at 1,077,000, with A CURRENT AFFAIR (886,000) and LUXE LISTINGS SYDNEY (390,000) also drawing in significant numbers.

Channel 7:

Beyond their news, HOME AND AWAY (823,000), DOGS BEHAVING (VERY) BADLY (485,000), and A YEAR ON PLANET EARTH (317,000) secured noteworthy ratings.

Channel 10:

Channel 10’s array was headlined by THE AMAZING RACE AUSTRALIA: CELEBRITY WED (528,000), followed by THE PROJECT 7PM (361,000).

ABC:

ABC had 7.30 (733,000), HARD QUIZ S8 (661,000), QUESTION EVERYTHING (488,000), WTFAQ (398,000), and a repeat of WOULD I LIE TO YOU? (256,000) on their ratings list.

Breakfast TV:

SUNRISE (403,000) from Channel 7 led the early bird offerings, with Channel 9’s TODAY (324,000) and ABC’s NEWS BREAKFAST-AM (253,000) making their mark.

Afternoon Game Shows:

THE CHASE AUSTRALIA (829,000) proved a favourite, with Channel 9’s HOT SEAT (482,000) and TIPPING POINT (396,000) providing competition.

This data stems from the comprehensive National VOZ ratings, factoring in metro, regional TV Markets, and streaming platforms like ABC iview, 7plus, 9NOW, 10play, and SBS On Demand.
